I wondered when taking over Roaddeaths.ie how long it would take until I was marking a headstone close to home. Today's crash was 1km away.

That stretch of road seems to have its fair share of crashes.
I've had to bypass it on the way to Kerry about 3 times in the past
year due to accidents.

It's a deceptively dangerous stretch alright. Very straight for a few kilometres but also very undulating.

I don't think it is the roads it is the speed that kills.I think people should drive sensibly.This will make the roads a safer place.

On OurMaps.ie -> Road Deaths. There's some problem with redirecting the domain which I can't quite get my head around.
